Magnificently perched on the beachfront dunes overlooking famed navigation hazard Frying Pan Shoals, The Shoals Club delivers a new level of oceanfront experience. With incredible dining, pool, and beach amenities, Members and their guests enjoy a club experience unlike any other on the island.

BHIC has purchased Shoals Club and 5.5 acres of adjacent property. The acquisition will not affect day-to-day operations; current management will remain in place.

Full Access

Full access to Shoals Club membership includes the right to use all club facilities. The Club is a short distance from BHIC and is situated above the beach and dunes on the southernmost tip of North Carolina with a breathtaking view of the actual Frying Pan Shoals. The distinctive cedar-sided Clubhouse features round columns, mullioned windows, and French doors. An adjacent gazebo overlooking East and South Beach offers a relaxing spot while watching the waves crash on the shore. The Club has multiple dining venues, pools, and a fitness operation.

The Club is the ideal complement to BHIC and offers a whole new range of shoreside possibilities for Members, their guests, and temporary members. Magnificently perched on the magnificent dunes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the Club offers fine and casual dining; swimming in crystal-clear saltwater pools; direct beach access, provided with chairs, towels, and umbrellas; a lounge; and a state-of-the-art fitness room. Creative kids' programming and family activities create opportunities for everyone to spend time together. The Club has 221 rooms, including suites and a guest cottage.

Limited Access

With a spectacular vantage point overlooking the legendary Frying Pan Shoals, the Club features private beach access and stunning oceanfront views. The Clubhouse provides multiple dining venues, pool, and fitness facilities. In addition, the shoals club offers unique family activities and kid-friendly holiday parties that deliver a new level of shoreside experiences to Members and their guests.

In addition to its full range of Member benefits, the Shoals Club has a limited number of Guest Memberships available at a discounted rate from our regular Guest Membership rates. These limited-access Guest Memberships may be best suited for golfers who prioritize golf over pool time or those who prefer to dine in one of the four other restaurants at the Club. These limited-access Guest Memberships also do not include access to the Club pools or evening dinner reservations. Still, they are a great option for those visiting with children and/or staying in homes with Shoals Club Guest Memberships.

Temporary Shoals Club memberships are available for those looking for a more comprehensive Bald Head Island experience. These guest memberships are only available through homes participating in the BHI Club and Shoals Club annual rental program. A six-passenger cart is included in the rental, and a temporary Shoals Club membership is required to use the cart on the golf course.

Temporary

Most MHI rental homes members of the Bald Head Island Limited Property Management program offer temporary Shoals Club membership to their guests for their stay on the island. This enables guests to enjoy the full amenities of the Shoals Club. During their time at the beach, guests can relax and enjoy the Club's casual and fine dining options, a pool facility, direct beach access with chairs and umbrellas, and many family activities.

Located within BHIC, the Shoals Club is a unique private beach club just above the iconic dunes with a spectacular view of Cape Fear Point. It delivers an ocean of possibilities to Members and their guests. The Club features multiple dining venues, a pool facility, beach access, and an additional state-of-the-art fitness operation.

The Shoals Club is self-funded, achieving its budgeted goals and operating cash flow. Its cash flow adequately covers all acquisition debt obligations and planned capital needs. Recent guest Members who drove personal 6-seater carts on the golf course have terminated their Guest Membership and Club access due to the damage caused to the Club's greens.

Annual

Magnificently perched on the beach overlooking the historic Frying Pan Shoals, the Club offers a unique private beach club experience. Members and guests can access a clubhouse featuring fine and casual dining pools, direct beach access with chairs and umbrellas, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and more.

The annual membership is self-funding. Operating cash flow adequately covers all recurring operating expenses, acquisition debt obligations, and the Club's planned capital needs.

Annual members are invited to attend the annual Member's Labor Day Party. This event features lavish food stations, divine drinks, and music by the band The Sleeping Booty. The Club also hosts various holiday events throughout the year to ensure there is something for everyone to enjoy. This is a great opportunity to meet fellow Members and their guests.
