Plus, these teams had drastically different Week 1s, despite the fact that they both wound up 0 Greedy Williams Jersey -1 once the smoke had cleared.Justin Herbert, Austin Ekeler, and the Chargers offense looked amazing, scoring 34 points on 433 total yards in a SoFi Stadium shootout for the ages against Miami. Against any other team but Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, and the Dolphins, L.A. would have won that game. But Tua aired out 466 pa sing yards and Mike McDaniel's squad prevailed by two in a 70-point barnburner.The Titans, meanwhile, lost a 16-15 slugfest in New Orleans that saw just one touchdown all game. Ryan Tannehill three threw interceptions and Derrick Henry managed just 63 rushing yards, while offseason acquisition DeAndre Hopkins paced the Tenne see wideouts with seven catches for 63 yards. DHop appears on the Titans' injury report (ankle), as do multiple key cogs in Mike Vrabel's defense. Even if Ekeler can't go due to an ankle injury Olivier Vernon Jersey of his own, Joshua Kelley proved to us last week that he can fill in capably (16-91-1).Herbert and his stud receiver duo of Keenan Allen and Mike Williams should lock this one up relatively early. These teams are coming off polar-opposite Week 1 tests, which will ultimately leave Titans fans singing the blues in Music City this Sunday night.FINAL SCORE PREDICTION:Chargers 27, Titans 20Buccaneers -2.5 vs. BearsThe Buccaneers opened their season with a big win in Minnesota, with new QB Baker Mayfield outlasting Kirk Cousins, Justin Jefferson, and the Vikings 20-17. Mayfield demonstrated a clear rapport with his downfield-receiving duo of Mike Evans and Chris Godwin and Tampa's defense played its customary 'bend but don't break' pa sing defense, while stifling Alexander Mattison and the Vikes' running game.Chicago, meanwhile, apparently still stinks. In the first game of Green Bay's Jordan Love era, the Packers marched into Soldier Field and punched the Bears in the mouth to the tune of 38-20. Da Bears fumbled da ball once and threw da ball into traffic multiple times, and Fields took four sacks on the day. To his credit, the third-year QB did throw for the second-most pa sing yards of his career (216) but the Chi also moved the chains on just 3-of-13 third-down attempts.Tampa operates a pa s-funnel defense that basically dares opposing teams to air it out, while the Bucs' underrated linebacking corps eats up opposing rushing games. That's bad-news Bears for the visitors (see what I did there), as Chicago can't throw the ball with even a fraction of the efficiency it usually enjoys on the ground. This could be a bloodbath at Raymond James Stadium, leaving oddsmakers regretful they gifted Tampa bettors with a field-goal cover.FINAL SCORE PREDICTION: Buccaneers 26, Bears 20Other Week 2 spreads we like:Seahawks (+4.5) at Lions; Giants (-3) at CardinalsBrowns (-140) at SteelersPublic Service Announcement: This pick is not a defense of Deshaun Watson's game in any way, shape, or form. We're not so sure Watson willgo back to being as effective as his Pro Bowl years with the Texans. But the Browns have a complete team around Watson, with an elite running back in Nick Chubb, a reliable pa s-catcher in Amari Cooper, and a very underrated defense.Their pa s-rush and secondary are both solid. Their offensive line? About as good as it gets. These are the key ingredients to beating average and slightly above-average teams, and Cleveland made Joe Burrow and the AFC North-rival Bengals look below-average in a 24-3 rout last week. Cincy netted 142yards on the day, 67 of which came through the air. The Bengals' average yards per play: 2.6., that's bad.You know who else is bad? The Steelers. Brock Purdy, Christian McCaffrey, and the 49ers came into Pittsburgh last weekend and stomped Mike Tomlin's squad 30-7. Fred Warner, Nick Bosa, and the San Francisco D tallied five sacks and two interceptions, and held Najee Harris and the Steelers running game to just 41 yards.Cleveland probably won't smack the Steelers around quite as handily as the Niners did last week, but we expect at least a cover. Pittsburgh hasn't changed enough offensively since last season, and now top Steelers receiver Diontae Johnson will mi s time with a hamstring injury. Bet the Browns to ground-and-pound the Steelers in a cla sic Monday Night Football slugfest.FINAL SCORE PREDICTION: Browns 20, Steelers 17MORE BROWNS-STEELERS: | Falcons (-125) vs. PackersAre you sitting down? Take a seat if you're not, because I'm about to blow your mind: the Falcons are actually good!Desmond Ridder has the highest completion rate in the NFL (83.3%), Bijan Robinson already looks like a Pro Bowl running back, and Atlanta's defense has improvedsince last season thanks in large part to the additions of pa s-rusher Calais Campbell and safety Je sie Bates III.The Packers, meanwhile, might not be as good as their Week 1 box score suggests. After all, they played the aforementioned Bears, who looked haple s on both sides of the ball, and they relied heavily on veteran running back Aaron Jones with 2022 breakout receiver Christian Watson out with a hamstring injury.But wouldn't ya know, Jones suffered a hamstring injury of his own on his 51-yard catch-and-run into the end zone. He, Watson, and wideout Romeo Doubs (also hamstring) the latter of whom caught both of Love's TD pa ses last Sunday are now all questionable for this weekend's tilt at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.Left tackle David Bakhtiari is also dealing with a nagging knee injury, and key linebackers Quay Walker (concu sion) and Rashan Gary (knee) are also questionable. If Green Bay has banged-up receivers (or no starting wideouts at all) and must run without Jones, it could get ugly (AJ Dillon managed just 19 yards on 13 rushes last Sunday). If Walker and Gary can't go, Bijan and Tyler Allgeier will Antonio Callaway Jersey gobble up Green Bay's swi s-cheese defense like Garfield with the morning munchies.FINAL SCORE PREDICTION:Falcons 20, Packers 17Other Week 2 moneylines we like: Colts (+100) at TexansChiefs at Jaguars: OVER 51.5 (-110)We contemplated just betting the Jaguars' OVER 24.5 at +105 but ultimately we like our odds better with the OVER on the game. The Jaguars look as good as we have seen them since the Mark Brunell era (no hyperbole). Wideout Calvin Ridley lookedin his first game back from suspension, and stud running back Travis Etienne Jr. picked up right where he left off in his 2022 breakout season.I'm starting to believe in this Jacksonville team as a legitimate Super Bowl team.Speaking of the big game, the Chiefs just opened up their Super Bowl-defending season with an L to the Lions at Arrowhead. The bitter homecoming involved an NFL-high five drops, three of which came from Kadarius Toney and stalled some otherwise-promising drives. So, needle s to say, Patrick Mahomes and company are going to be hungry for points early and often in this one.Travis Kelce appears on track to return for this one, too, although he's still listed as questionable with his knee injury. And stud defensive tackle Chris Jones the heart of the Chiefs' pa s-rush who held out until well after Kansas City's season began will be in action as well. This is a whole different squad with Kelce and Jones active, and we expect this contest to be the shootout of the week.MORE CHIEFS-JAGUARS: | Cowboys UNDER 23.5 (-125) vs. JetsHere's a little betting hack for you: You don't always have to bet the over or under on the game itself. Instead, you can opt to bet on either team going over or under a certain amount. In this case, we love Sauce Gardner and this incredible Jets defense rolling into Arlington and punching Dak Prescott and the Cowboys in the mouth.Why should we trust Prescott? He didn't dolast week in the Cowboys' 40-0 romp of the pathetic Giants. Danny Dimes looked like Dan Pennies on the sidelines, with his head in his hands like he just got cut from the varsity team (). But I digre s Dak had 143 pa sing yards on the night, and that was against a Giants team that largely looked like it had given up completely.The Jets, meanwhile, went through an emotional roller coaster last week. The world was their oyster when Aaron Rodgers got introduced with the team and he ran onto the field with the American flag in his hands, but four snaps into his Jets career he tore his Achilles. Then New York somehow triumphantly fought back to win the game, thanks largely to the heroics of linebacker Quincy Williams (9 solo tackles) and DB Jordan Whitehead (3 interceptions).Expect augly game from Dallas in this one and an ugly game in general. Jets OC Nathaniel Hackett will likely employ a very conservative game plan with Zach Wilson, not letting the kid do too much. Breece Hall, Dalvin Cook, and Gang Green's run game will try to control the clock, while New York's defense aims to neutralize Prescott's aerial attack. Go low or don't go for the total at all.MORE BETTING:| | | Justin Fields, QB, Bears at Buccaneers OVER 174.5 pa sing yardsThe Bears have made it abundantly clear that they want Fields attempting more than 21.2 pa ses per game like he did in 2022. They got their wish in Week 1 against the Packers, when the third-year QB finished with 24 completions on 37 attempts. Thats the second-most pa ses and completions he has logged in a game in his 28-game career and he might throw even more this week against the Buccaneers.Tampa Bays defense often sells out to stop the run, and wed bet the house on the Bucs strong linebacking corps lurking to prevent Fields from burning them with his legs. Todd Bowles squad surrendered just 41 total rushing yards to the Vikings last week, but Justin Jefferson, Jordan JC Tretter Jersey Addison and company carved Tampa up for 328 yards through the air.The Bucs lost defensive back Sean Murphy-Bunting to the Titans in the offseason, cornerback Carlton Davis III has an injured toe, and free safety Christian Izien is in the concu sion protocol. We love Fields to obliterate this over/under in what should be a mini-shootout at Raymond James Stadium.MORE SUPERDRAFT DFS FANTASY PROPS:Jared Goff, QB, Lions vs. Seahawks OVER 267.5 pa sing yardsAnother QB prop I woke up feeling dangerous after my picks went undefeated last week. But how can you not love Goff at home against an abysmal Seahawks secondary? Former Lion Matthew Stafford enjoyed a vintage performance in Seattle last week, recording 334 pa sing yards on 24 completions (13.9 yards per completion). And Goff and company just knocked off reigning MVP Patrick Mahomes and the defending-champion Chiefs at Arrowhead.Even worse for Pete Carroll, the Seahawks offensive line is hurtin for certain, with both starting tackles likely mi sing in action this Sunday. Right tackle Abraham Lucas hit the IR (knee), while left tackle Charles Cro s hurt his big toe and Carroll said it will be a challenge for him to play. That just means Geno Smith will have trouble holding onto the ball at Ford Field, especially after the Lions surprising pa s-rushing performance in the league-opener two Thursdays ago.With Goff and the Lions well-rested and likely dominating the time of po se sion and Amon-Ra St. Brown looking healthy and as dominant as ever we project Detroit to rack up 275-plus pa sing yards. Add some steam to the 2023 Motown hype train and smash that OVER!Dalton Kincaid, TE, Bills vs. Raiders OVER 29.5 receiving yards (Piva)Everything besides Stefon Diggs seemed to go haywire for the Bills against the Jets on Monday, but at least Kincaid looked pretty good out there. The rookie tight end hauled in all four of his targets and appeared to get open downfield on a handful of additional routes.Now, granted, Kincaid finished with only 26 total yards on the night but Josh Allen also threw three interceptions to friggin Jordan Whitehead. Allen had just 236 pa sing yards, 31.7 fewer than his per-game average in 2022. If the Bills QB cleaned it up even a little in that deplorable second-half performance, Kincaid likely would have cruised to 30-plus air yards.Were all-in on DK this weekend. Buffalo ran a two-tight end set on nearly 60 percent of its offensive snaps in Week 1, and Kincaid ran 38 total routes. That number ties T.J. Hockensons NFL record for the most routes run in a single game by a rookie tight end. The Raiders at home should be a cake walk compared to the Jets on the road, and we like Kincaid to be a big part of the Bills bounce-back.Dak Prescott, QB, Cowboys vs. Jets: OVER 0.5 interceptions (+105 on )This is like taking candy from a baby. Prescott Kendall Lamm Jersey threw 15 interceptions in 2022, he looked God-awful last weekend in the Meadowlands, and now he's got the best secondary in the free world coming to expose him...and we get plus odds on an 0.5 OVER!? Bada bing, bada boom we jumped on this one and wrote it up in a New York minute.
