Ethereum and Me

I will always be thankful for ETH. It has always been there for me from start to finish.

It was more than four years ago when I decided to go to law school. I have more than 1000+ ETH at that time which I sold to pay a portion of my university fees. At that time ETH was just a few dollars. I already profited from it.

After I sold all of my ETH, I went to focus entirely on my studies. I stopped all of my trading activities. The only coins left from me were those I hodled but I forgot where I placed their private keys. I have multiple wallets, each coin at that time has its own wallet. Those could be worth thousands now. Multi-coin wallet at that time was still not the norm.

A year ago, I went back to crypto trading. I also included yield farming on my crypto activities. I was able to retrieve the the private keys of my wallet from my old laptop. It's a native Ethereum wallet which I downloaded from Github and the private keys were contained in a JSON file which will give you the idea of how early I was in Ethereum. To my surprise, I found 2.5 ETH sitting there.

Looking back, I could have millions right now if I have not sold all of my ETH. It is not my lack of trust or belief that made me sell it. I know ETH will be so big as early as that time. It is not just a fork. All of the other coins at that time were code forks of Bitcoin. We even have some sort of humorous insults for those who love forks.

Some may asked me whether I have regrets or not, well, nothing at all. In life, there are only lessons. One thing I learned is that, if the crypto space is for you, it will find ways to bring you back there. I do not have any Ethereum right now since I have given my full focus on Cosmos and Algorand.

I will always be thankful for ETH. It has always been there for me from start to finish. Should I get some ETH again soon?
