Restaurant at Shoals Club

Thankfully, there are plenty of great options for meals on the island. From seafood to pub favorites to ice cream, you’re sure to find something that hits the spot.

MoJo’s on the Harbor is a seafood restaurant with stunning views of the harbor and boats coming in. You can also order burgers and other lunch options. For dessert, try the Creme Brulee Cheesecake or Key Lime Pie.

The Bald Head Island Club offers a variety of dining options from the Horizons restaurant poolside to the Palms Dining Room and Terrace for an upscale atmosphere. The Grill is another dining option for members only. If you’re not a member, you can dine here by purchasing a day pass. You can also order drinks from their seasonal cocktail menu like the Japanese Blossom made with mango Nigori Sake, ginger beer, fresh basil and top-shelf gin.

Delphina Cantina

Whether you’re looking to enjoy fresh seafood or want to grab a deli-style sandwich, The Shoals Club has the perfect meal for you. It’s also the ideal place to enjoy a long list of wines and cocktails. This family-friendly venue is perfect for those with children in tow.

The food here is homemade, honest and Mediterranean-inspired. The restaurant uses ingredients from local suppliers who have become friends of the staff.

This restaurant, which is reminiscent of Lisbon’s most beautiful city square, has gained a reputation for its consistency in serving Portuguese-style cuisine in a modern and cosmopolitan environment. The menu is complemented by a carefully curated selection of Portuguese wines and signature drinks. The staff here are also very welcoming and warm. Guests can sample tapas, tacos, bowls, and entrees at reasonable prices. They can also try Delfina’s no cilantro salsa, which is made with tomatoes, onions and jalapenos for a spicy and delicious flavor.

The Shoals Club

Overlooking the historic Point of Cape Fear, The Shoals Club offers a decadent oceanfront oasis for members, their guests and temporary club members. With two pools, dining venues with spectacular views, direct beach access, and creative family programming, there’s nothing quite like it on the island.

AQUA is the club’s fine-dining restaurant. With breathtaking views and a delightful menu with seafood, burgers, and more, this is a must-visit. Latitudes offers casual club dining and has a great seafood menu, while the Sandbar Grille is poolside with sandwiches and easy food to enjoy poolside.

Other small restaurants located inside or near the club include Copper’s Woodfire Kitchen with pizzas, Sweet Bay Cafe and Catering, Side Wok with Asian food and Nye’s Cream Sandwiches. Also, the Maritime Market has a small collection of ready-to-heat meals that you can order to pick up and take back to your vacation rental.

Mike’s Bites

Located in the old Cape Fear Light generator building on Federal Road, Mike’s Bites is a new addition to the island. Located near the Barrier Island Study Center and Conservancy, it’s convenient for visitors who need an easy lunch or snack before heading off to explore the beach.

The menu includes a selection of fast food options like hot dogs and sandwiches as well as snacks and desserts. You’ll also find a small beverage selection including coffee and wine.

Mike’s Bites is another one of the many new Bald Head Island restaurants that have popped up on the island. The new product from Tyson 2.0 pays homage to the boxer’s famous ear-biting moment with Evander Holyfield in 1997. The edible gummies are shaped like Iron Mike’s ears and have been flying off the shelves with knockout flavors and effects. Each bite delivers 7.5 mg of delta 8 cannabis.

Copper’s Woodfire Kitchen

Located in a former jailhouse, this one of the best restaurants on Bald Head Island offers a unique atmosphere and a menu that includes seafood and southern favorites. The restaurant also features a full bar and outdoor seating. In addition to their delicious food, they offer seasonal entertainment and creative drinks.

Jule’s Salty Grub Island Pub

JULES’ Salty Grub Island Pub (formerly MoJo’s on the Harbor) is a waterfront restaurant that offers mouthwatering seafood and cocktails in an inviting pub ambiance. It’s a perfect spot to watch the boats come and go in the marina.

The menu at Jule’s includes a variety of southern favorites and seafood. You can also find vegetarian and gluten-free options. The restaurant also has a selection of wines and ice cold local craft beers. It is recommended to reserve a table in advance as it is one of the most popular restaurants on the island.

The owners of Jule’s are long-time residents of BHI. They are very involved in community activities and volunteer at Old Baldy and the Conservancy. They are dedicated to preserving the island environment and offering hospitality to visitors and Islanders.
