Trekking starts from the base camps located in the sankari village which is 200km away from Dehradun.

  • Kedarkantha trek

Kedarkantha is a famous trek in our country . It is situated in Uttarakhand at 12500 fts . Trekking starts from the base camps located in the sankari village which is 200km away from Dehradun.Uttarakhand itself is a beautiful place with clouds, rains and even snow and kedarkantha is a blessing to that wonderful state. Kedarkantha trek is a high altitude summit climb in the Himalayas and mostly done in the winter season. It is widely done by beginners who start their trekking journey with the kedarkantha trek. Doing this trek is adventurous and thrilling to people.

Clearings are the reason to trek in kedarkantha and if it is not sufficient, then you are actually trekking through lovely pine and deodar trees covered with white snow which is absolutely virgin and soft, you can actually take the snow up and it will fall through your fingers like sand. The kedarkantha trek is mostly famous for its clearings. The temperature in winters are around -10 to -12 degree Celsius at the summit. It’s really adventurous as well. This trek is in between the direction of sunrise and sunset , so you get to see the sun rays colliding within the forest and snow.

While stepping up towards kedarnath you are going to get other mesmerizing bonus places like Juda ka talab, hargaon, etc. as campsites.

Kedarkantha is a summit at a high altitude, you are starting the trek at 6800 ft. height and you are climbing all the way to about 12500 ft. height in 3 days. So, this means the trek involves quite a few climbs

  • Gokyo Ri - Everest Base Camp Trek

Everybody knows the Everest base camp trek. Now, this Everest Base Camp Gokyo Ri trek starts off along with the main Everest Base Camp trek itself and then we deviate. We take a circular route, we go via Gokyo Ri and Chola Pass which is a high pass and then join the main EBC trail back. Now, what we get by doing this is Gokyo Ri has a series of 6 beautiful high altitude lakes. This is an extremely beautiful trail and it is very less crowded also. Lot of people don’t go there, everybody goes on the EBC trail. So, you have less crowd, you get 6 lakes and you have a chola pass to cross. Chola pass is about 17 and half thousand feet and that’s a challenge in itself.

  • Hampta pass

I think Hampta pass features very well in this category. Hampta pass is the perfect gateway between an easy trek and a difficult one. So, you have longer days but then again you have shorter days as well. At the same time you have a difficult pass day so you have more of a climb, you have more of a stretch that you have to push yourself for. So the pass day climbed more than 14000 feet, that’s higher than any of your Har Ki Dun, kedarkantha or deveretal. So, that challenge is there, that fight against altitude is there, so it’s a bit more challenging.

  • Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest base camp trek, which has all the glamor of all these Nepal trekking, is generally a 6-7 days of trekking that depends on what route you select. These are the factors that make it very attractive for indians.

Green fields, big mountains take you to the huge bridges. Typical nepali culture, chai, cuisine and flowers are its significance.

After briefing, you will have a 1 and half hour ride to Nayapul. The actual trekking begins henceforth to Ghandruk. The village is loaded with tea houses and serves typical nepali cuisine. The route has gradual ascent with stairs, it takes about 5-6 hours to reach the camping area. Ghandruk is considered as the biggest and the most peaceful village on the trek route. In the south you can notice Machhapuchhare and Everest views. The day starts with a 1km descent through a dense forest. Picture perfect hilly settlements, surrounded by green banana fields, rhododendrons and ferns. Chomrong lies on the hilltop having stone paved stairs. It is a gateway to the Everest sanctuary; long bridges laid with prayer flags add essence to the route. Watch the peaceful sunset while having tea on the Everest ranges.

  • Manaslu circuit

It is a Himalayan trek located in Maslow region of nepal. This is the most beautiful and rarely visited part of the country, close to the border of Tibet. Not only do you experience authentic nepali villages and life in the area, you also feel the crossover of the Tibetan traditions on this side of the country. Manaslu is the eight highest mountain in the world standing at 80163 meters or 26781 feets. It is the biggest, longest and most exciting trek you will ever do. Manaslu in Sanskrit means manassa meaning soul or intellect. The trek will start from Arughat, joining the Everest Circuit, and eventually on to Upper Mustang, finishing in Jomsom and flying back to Pokhran.
