Method: Deactivate the Account

If the error still continues to occur, users should try deactivating the account. The steps for the deactivation are given below: 

  • Access QuickBooks and then visit the Tools menu.
  • Herein, the user is required to Choose the list of Accounts.
  • Following that, hit on the Edit option.
  • After that, click on Online Services, and follow up by hitting on Deactivate.
  • Subsequent to that, hit on Yes.
  • Now, click on Setup Now and tap on Ok.
  • To conclude, click on Finish.
  • Subsequently, click on the Validate File option to ensure its correctness. Once that is done, hit on Ok.
  • Now, proceed to the Tools menu and head to the Account List.
  • Tap on Online Services and click on the Edit option besides the account.
